North as it is very near JB but to me, public transport in SG is highly accessible and well connected!

Jurong East! Have multiple malls including JEM, Westage and IMM. Plenty of food options. There's enough stuff that you don't need to travel elsewhere for it.

central/ north area of Singapore is BEST. Has it was more CENTRE of the country. no matter is traveling to west or east, the times traveling was less. A place that has wet market, coffee shop, shopping central, MRT, has a school nearby and garden. A place that is "noisy" sometimes, make the place more living.

West Side is pretty assessable, there are trains and mrt that can bring us to town easily and the condition of the air is slightly better as there is lesser traffic.

I lived in the central/south all my life! It is the best as there are many attractions, shopping, dining, like Orchard Road, Marina Bay, etc. But I still like to travel to other parts of Singapore to jalan jalan and eat, like Bedok, Jurong, AMK and Toa Payoh. Most important is we love and are comfortable living in our HDB flats, can continue to afford our lifestyle, etc as it is so convenient now to travel anywhere via MRT and Public transport, to do what we enjoy doing, to live a fulfilling life!

I prefer north east and east area as I feel it is more convenient. Many mall and park to walk around, left traffic during the weekend also.

Prices of property in the north is generally lower than the south and east and comparable to the west.
It also good to retire because u can head to JB for shopping and food conveniently once the MRT starts in 2026 to JB.

Southern side of Singapore. Kallang to be exact! Its walking distance to the huge and happening Sports Stadium and Singapore's iconic Sports Hub. Its very near to the central city and the Singapore flyer. Sometimes you could catch the fireworks and it is very near to the central heart of the city! Nice places to visit, delicious food, good environment.
